Artec Eva alternative software

Hi guys!
So my problem is, one of my colleague has bought an Artec Eva 3D Scanner, but my boss won't buy the original software because "it is too exepensive"..
My question: Does anybody know a free (or cheaper) software wich I can use with this Artec Eva scanner?

He has to buy the Artec studio software.

If he decides not to buy the software, let me know. I'll take the scanner off his hands.

As it seems you have tested the flexscan3d.
How can i test this software ?
Is it possible to buy or a way to test it ?
