I hadn't seen this one. The resolution is pretty low but the other TI projector/dev boards were much more expensive. I always wanted to try one of these. Especially because it would allow you to sync it easily with the IS cameras (they have configurable trigger inputs) and I think this would help with the surface texture issues some people have. It may also help lower calibration error and it could allow you to set up very fast scan capturing.

It would be nice if you were able to change the lens.

Are you thinking of playing around with one?
