Hi,
Today it's first time that I had to scan a large objects. Made my 240mm and 300mm panels and calibration is a piece of cake comparing to the small sizes I usually need to fight with.
But I do have a lines on the object - vertical lines that bends in the upper image portion to the corners,
I have tried to change a lot to get rid of them with no luck, they always stay the same. I'm scanning with 1080p Lg PF1500 and Nikon D5300. I have tried changing synchro scan, aperature, ISO, focus, etc.
Did any of You got similar artifacts?
How did You get rid of them?
Thank You.

Just recently, in the Telegram group, a person had a similar problem - it turned out that, in his case, the external lighting of the room had a similar effect - with fluorescent lights.
I prefer to scan in the dark or in very low ambient light, which can in no way affect the quality of the scan.

I am going to assume that you have been scaning with your setup previously with out these problems. The only difference now is that you are scanning a larger object. Is this correct?Shefajs wrote: ↑12 Mar 2020, 11:01 Hi,

If so, my first thought is that OBNRacerman is correct, and that it's environmental (Florescent lights are the work of the Devil

If not, have you changed the setting under "Structuredlight -> Acquisition -> SyncMode?

at first increase the angle between projector and camera. it must be larger then 15 deg (in single an dual mode).Shefajs wrote: ↑12 Mar 2020, 11:01 Hi,

for second, reduce projector light
for third, try other frame rate of camera.
you know that the frame rate of camera and projector must be synchronized.

3D Scanner - This is a Russian-speaking group, mainly those who create their own homemade 3D scanners.
There, among other things, various 3D scanning programs are discussed. Although I know that there are also users from other states - Lithuania, Belarus and others.
