Revopoint Trackit SR Scanner

Revopoint has just released the upgraded version of Trackit, adding features like outdoor scanning, temperature monitoring and wireless scanning.
This looks interesting to me because the wires could be a lot bothering during scanning, and the cable is usually not long enough to operate a scan.
I would like to know if anyone else is eyeing this scanner and am searching for suggestions and thoughts.

I was at FabTech in Chicago last September. RevoPoint had a booth there (along with all the other major scanner manufacturers). The had the Trackit scanner, but They spent the entire three days of the event trying to get it to work properly.... And couldn't. It was constantly loosing it's position when it wasn't disconnecting from the base station. The people working on it were a support engineer and a sales person from china, so they should have known the system. I wrote Revopoint off my list at that point.

Though the Metro Y ultra and gotten my attention again recently.

I had two Revopoint scanners: a handheld MetroX laser scanner and a standalone Miraco Plus. Overall, my biggest complaint was the software – it took a very long time to process both the initial point cloud optimization and mesh creation (CPU load was minimal, with only one or two cores doing the heavy lifting... and the graphics card didn't even play a role). I eventually sold both scanners. I now have a handheld Shining Rockit laser scanner – it's small and completely wireless, thanks to its built-in, replaceable battery. Judging by the videos Revopoint has published, they've taken a similar approach with TrackIt SR. But how it will turn out in real life remains to be seen.
P.S. Incidentally, Shining's Exstar Hub software also raises a number of questions and complaints. For example, you can't start a new scan until you've optimized the cloud for the previous scan (even though it's much faster, I still don't always want to go through these steps during scanning). You also can't specify scans in a project from which to build a mesh—the program takes all scans in the project, meaning one project means one part).
